Patrick Togni to Speak at the American Association of Exporters and Importers’ 102nd Annual Conference & Expo

On June 21, 2023, International Trade partner Patrick Togni was a featured panelist at the American Association of Exporters and Importers’ 102nd Annual Conference & Expo.  Pat participated in a panel on Forced Labor Compliance and Enforcement.  Pat’s remarks focused on compliance issues relating to the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (“UFLPA”) which was enacted into law in December 2021 and for which enforcement began on June 21, 2022.  Pat’s remarks also touched on additional legislative and regulatory developments in the United States, Europe, and Canada (among other countries implementing or developing legislation) to address forced labor in global supply chains.
