backThe Los Angeles Business Journal has named King & Spalding partner Joe Akrotirianakis to its 2024 Top 100 Lawyers list.
The list recognizes lawyers who “have demonstrated exceptional legal skill and achievements across the full spectrum of responsibility, exemplary leadership and contributions to the Los Angeles community at large.”
The publication recognized Akrotirianakis’ successes in matters that have been repeatedly recognized in the legal press and mainstream media. Most recently, he has successfully challenged a California law that would have made it more challenging for his client American Kidney Fund to provide financial assistance to dialysis patients, brought groundbreaking unfair competition and false advertising suits related to blockbuster drug Mounjaro, and successfully defended cybersecurity company NSO Group in a CFAA case related to the assassination of Jamal Khashoggi.
