NEW YORK, June 5, 2015 — Legal 500 has once again recognized King & Spalding as one of the foremost law firms in the United States, ranking 26 of the firm’s practices as among the best in the nation and recommending 104 individual lawyers for contributions to their fields in the publisher’s 2015 edition of its U.S. guide.
The firm made considerable gains as compared to last year, with six additional practice rankings and 25 individual rankings. The additional six new practice area categories are:

In addition, the firm was named a finalist for the 2015 Legal 500 USA Law Firms Award in the categories of Intellectual Property: Copyright and Litigation: Supreme Court and Appellate. Legal 500 selected the award finalists based on its research for its 2015 guide, which included more than 50,000 interviews of law firms and their clients.
In the Legal 500 United States 2015 guide, the firm retained its Tier 1 rankings in the categories of Energy: Litigation, International Arbitration and Product Liability and Mass Tort Defense: Toxic Tort. The firm’s Construction group also earned a Tier 1 ranking this year under the Real Estate & Construction: Construction category.
