Latinvex Names Erica Franzetti, Luli Hemmingsen, Jessica Mendoza and Fradyn Suárez Among Top 100 Female Lawyers


Latinvex has named King & Spalding lawyers Erica Franzetti, Luli Hemmingsen, Jessica Mendoza and Fradyn Suárez to its Top 100 Female Lawyers list. The list recognizes leading women lawyers from international firms practicing in Latin America. It is one of only two firms with four awardees and among the top four firms overall, out of 60 firms.

Franzetti focuses on international commercial and investor-state arbitration across several industry sectors (e.g., energy and natural resources, life sciences, financial services, hospitality, and information technology) and jurisdictions (e.g., U.S., Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Croatia, Hungary, and the Philippines).

Hemmingsen is a commercially driven international disputes lawyer who consistently aims to obtain efficient and effective client-focused results. She is dual-qualified in civil and common law and her practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration, and public international law matters, with a particular emphasis in Latin America.

Mendoza regularly represents financial institutions, project sponsors, developers and corporate borrowers on cross-border lending transactions in Latin America, including project finance and corporate finance transactions. She advises project sponsors and developers on engineering, procurement and construction contracts in connection with infrastructure and energy assets.

Suárez has more than 20 years of experience representing stakeholders in connection with complex finance transactions and restructurings and other investments in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Her practice is mostly focused on project finance, with a concentration in development banks, infrastructure and energy.
