King & Spalding was selected for the award by an independent panel of industry experts, including:

The judges also highlighted the firm’s lead roles on large LNG projects in Africa, including Damietta LNG in Egypt, Mozambique LNG and Tanzania LNG as well the firm’s strong energy disputes practice, headlined by the $500 million award against the Republic of Kazakhstan following the seizure of petroleum assets operated by Moldovan investors in the country.
