backKing & Spalding has advised e& capital VC Holding Limited, a company wholly owned by e& capital (formerly known as Etisalat), to complete their investment in the Series B round of Traydstream Limited. The round was co-led by e& capital and Pivot Investment Partners, a private investment firm based in New York that focuses on identifying high-potential early growth equity stage companies across financial services and financial technology.
Traydstream is a London based leading provider of automated trade document scrutiny and compliance checking solutions. This funding round will catalyze the next phase of Traydstream’s growth and advance its mission to transform trade finance. e& capital is the investment arm of e&, a UAE-based technology group currently operating in 16 countries across Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. e& is in the process of transforming itself from a legacy telecommunications giant in the Middle East into a technology player globally, which includes ambitions to establish a major presence in Europe.
