King & Spalding partner Jeffrey Dutson has been elected as a trustee for the American College of Investment Counsel (ACIC).
Dutson is a restructuring partner in the firm’s leveraged finance and restructuring group. He represents corporate debtors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases throughout the country as well as buyers and sellers in distressed M&A transactions. Dutson also represents banks and other investors in connection with their most complex restructurings, bankruptcy, and finance matters.
The ACIC was formed in 1981 by lawyers from private practice and financial institutions, specializing in the area of major institutional investment financing to provide a forum for the discussion of legal issues arising in this area and to provide educational programs on these issues for its members.
