Jan Schaefer to Speak at Inaugural Conference of the Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation

Frankfurt International Arbitration partner Jan K. Schaefer will speak at the inaugural conference of the Hague Court of Arbitration for Aviation (HCAA) on Jan. 26. The panel titled “360 Degrees of Key Aviation Cases” will survey certain key court judgements and publicly available arbitral awards from different jurisdictions as indicative of global and regional trends in aviation industry-related jurisprudence, along with a discussion on the challenges and limitations of traditional court litigation for aviation disputes and how arbitration and especially specialized arbitration may offer more effective alternative and innovative solutions in different contexts.

Jan also sits on the Rules Standing Committee of the HCAA.
