Hanna Azkiya to Speak at Ciarb 5th Annual Conference

Singapore Trial and Global Disputes associate, Hanna Azkiya, has been invited to speak at a hybrid event hosted by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators East Asia Branch Young Members Group “Ciarb (EAB) YMG” for their 5^th Annual Conference to be held in Jakarta, Indonesia, on September 5-6, 2024. Hanna will speak in a panel session on “Arbitration from other stakeholders’ perspectives – arbitrators and in-house counsels” together with Jonathan Choo (arbitrator, Vantage Chambers), Jay Santiago (in-house counsel, Kyndryl & Chair of Ciarb Philippines YMG) and a Representative from ICCA (Indonesia Corporate Counsel Association). The panel will discuss the arbitral process from the perspective of arbitrators and in-house counsels, in particular on tribunal decision-making and deliberation, dealing with issues of due process as well as document production.

Our Keynote Speaker will be Prof. Bernard Hanotiau. Prof. Hanotiau is professor emeritus of the law school of Université catholique de Louvain, visiting professor at National University of Singapore, an Advisory Board member of the ICCA International Council for Commercial Arbitration, and the ICC Arbitration International Arbitration Commission. He is also Partner of Hanotiau & van den Berg in Brussels.
