Corporate, Finance and Investments partners Fradyn Suárez (Miami) and Brandon Dalling (New York) will speak at the 2022 IJGlobal REFF Wall Street Conference on Sept. 14 – 15 in New York.
Fradyn will moderate a panel on “Investing in Central American renewables,” which will focus on: (i) the evaluation of project pipelines in key growth markets; (ii) how are projects being structured and who are the key players; (iii) the mandate of regional multilateral banks and development organizations and how are they facilitating deal flow for renewable energy projects; (iv) an analysis of the Biden Plan program for Northern Triangle of Central America and Investments in Dominican Republic; and (v) sustainability linked financing in Central America, KPIs and frameworks for avoiding greenwashing and ongoing monitoring.
Brandon will moderate a panel on “Energy policy outlook: evaluating the impact of the Inflation Reduction Act,” which will focus on: (i) what asset classes stand to benefit the most from the new legislation; (ii) examining the new tax credit rate structures and the introduction of PTC’s; (iii) whether the IRA provides the industry sufficient support for pushing past the current industry headwinds; and (iv) what the introduction of direct pay means for the industry.
