Cox Enterprises to Acquire Axios

King & Spalding is representing Cox Enterprises, Inc. in its $525 million acquisition of Axios Media Inc., a leading digital media company covering news and insights in politics, tech, business, media science and the world.  The acquisition is part of Cox’s ongoing goal to grow and diversify the company.

The transaction is led by Rahul Patel, Linda Lorenat, John Hyman, Baylie Evans and Umbar Malik.
