Qualified candidates will have significant commercial litigation experience (or ideally, a combination of litigation and international arbitration experience) with a large law firm, with a focus on construction, infrastructure, and/or energy disputes; outstanding academic credentials; strong written and oral advocacy skills; experience leading disputes teams; superior attention to client service; and the ability to manage matters and teams that move at a fast pace. Type of Experience: King & Spalding seeks a highly qualified mid or senior-level “projects” attorney with experience in finance, M&A and/or development of energy and infrastructure projects for one of the firms U.S. offices preferably with similar experience at a large national or international law firm. Transactional legal experience with large renewable and conventional power and energy projects will be a core competence. Qualified candidates will have expertise in some combination of credit and security documentation, purchase and sale and merger documentation, and power purchase agreements and related, critical project contracts.
